I cannot tell you how absolutely happy that made me since I adore the works of Dr. Seuss. My favorite book when I was younger was the Sneetches and Other Stories. My YCC Tess & I used to read it and when we read the story about the too many Dave's we would attribute each of the silly names to one of our other family members. The one I always remember was Oliver-Boliver Butt and I think that was my cousin Gary. Sorry Gary.
Well, I just wanted to say Happy Birthday to my wonderful Aunty Larae who is always so happy & smiley & full of surprises! I mean, who else has an Aunt that will dress in a Fairy Princess gown for Thanksgiving, just because it made her happy? And who else give you $25.00 a week before Christmas so you can buy yourself something, wrap it, and open it in front of her on Christmas, just because it makes her happy?
Nobody? I didn't think so.

P.S. LaRae was sick on Christmas this year so she didn't get to see us open our presents. She got us the meat grinder attachment for our kitchen aid - I should invite her and Uncle Ray over for yummy burgers this summer - and she got B a Jet Blue Airport set. She is such a wonderful gift giver!!!

I will wipe my tears away and thank you for the lovely words. Don't let the Bette scare you I use it quite a bit for computer things and insurance cards, being my name is really Bette LaRae. I love my birthday, I have such found memories of Grandma Clara, my cousin Dwaine Broton as all of our birthday's are on the same day. Of course then when I was about your age I got the notion that I needed to have my own day; being bless with a mother, a mother in law and Ray's grandma it seemed that most holidays--mothers dat were spent seeing to others and I wanted a day for myself but I could never decide what day I wanted. Thinking back I can't believe I had such an atitude but I did. Now I would like to spend the day with everyone.
I don't remember the Dr Suess book you and Tess use to read. I will need to go to Barnes and Noble, have some coffee and read it. Maybe buy it if I like the picture of Oliver-Boliver Butt.
